This whole LEGO photography journey has been wild. Although I haven’t had much time for photo shoots these days (family, work, life… all that stuff), I’m really grateful for the past decade (almost!) of rediscovering a love these little plastic people.
When the Klutz team from Scholastic reached out to ask if I’d like to be part of their LEGO: Minifigure Photography book, I couldn’t have said ‘yes!’ faster.
As a parent and tinkerer, I’ve been a fan of the Klutz books for a while. They always have a great balance of parts, instructions, and price. Now, I’ve been able to contribute to a one myself.
It was a pleasure helping with the copy and photography in the book as part of the team of people working hard behind the scenes.
I think the result is pretty amazing.
The team at Klutz were great to work with and it’s always a nice buzz seeing the book in stores and in the kids’ Scholastic Book Club and Book Fair magazines.
If you’d like to get a copy, they’re available at any book shop that stocks Klutz books. You have a lot of choices. If you’re in Australia, Big W and Target have had great prices on them.
If you pick up a copy, I’d love to hear about it!
