Brick Pixels is a project by Ben Teoh, dedicated to helping people get started with LEGO® photography.
Hi, I’m Ben Teoh and welcome to Brick Pixels.
I’ve been taking photos of LEGO around Adelaide, South Australia since 2014. I’ve learned a lot along the way and had some great experiences and opportunities. Now, I’m focusing on helping others into it!
On this website, you’ll find how-to guides, tips, ideas and insights on how you can get the most out of this great hobby. I’ll also be featuring other great photographers who are doing unique things and inspire me in my own LEGO photography adventures.
On the Brick Pixels Instagram account, you’ll find where I share original LEGO photographs. It’s also the best place connect with me if you want to chat about photography, LEGO or just say hi. (I also have my personal account – @HelloBenTeoh)
On the Brick Pixels Facebook Page, I’ll be sharing a mix of what’s here on the blog, what’s on Instagram as well as any other interesting LEGO photography related news, articles, pictures and videos from around the web.
If you’re starting out with LEGO photography, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch and let me know how you’re going with it!
Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently – I've been flat out working on @brickalaide things! But I was fortunate enough to be interviewed by the The Advertiser about the workshops I'm doing with @cheepjokes and @llworld and also the world of LEGO photography! For the Adelaide folk, if you're looking for something to do tomorrow come by and say hi to us and also @xlii and @rellie16. We're all there helping to promote LEGO photos. #Brickalaide #brickalaide2016 #sblugau
Mind blown. What a privilege! I never would have thought my photos would be up on the big screen at @federationsquare along with a bunch of other Instagrammers. Thanks heaps to @llworld @cheepjokes @theshortnews and @brett_wilson for organising this. You guys are awesome. #xmasatfedsquare #brickcentral #stuckinplastic #lego #littlethingsonthebigscreen
Here's what was in the box! Plus some extra news 🎄🎄 It's a little promo pack for the giant LEGO Christmas tree that will be built in Melbourne's Federation Square. It will be made from over 13,000 bricks and will feature a star built by LEGO Master Builder Chris Steininger and his family. The Santa polybag and keyring will be going to the Southern Bricks LEGO User Group "Building a Better Christmas" LEGO drive for the Salvos – if you'd like to donate some LEGO to kids in need, there's still time > http://www.sblug.club/Christmas My kids and I will have a play with the parts to see what Christmas stars we can build with them 😊 ALSO as part of the Federation Square events happening over the Christmas season, I'll be joining a bunch of LEGO Instagrammers who will have their photos featured on the massive screen. It's going to be a blast and I know that everyone involved is really looking forward to sharing their LEGO Christmas greetings. All the action in Federation Square starts on 27 November so if you're in Melbourne or over there visiting, make sure you stop by and check it out! #LEGOXmas #XmasAtFedSquare
